Ch.7
Zone 1

Still mad from my almost beat-down, I remembered that mark on that guys left shoulder.
"Hey Malcolm, do you know anything about that guy?" I asked as we passed a sign pointing to the direction were Zone 1 was.
"Yes, his name is Rock, he is the head member of the Mardukes. Controlled by The Red Party, a murderous secret society"
"Mardukes?"
"Yes, they were a political party but evolved into a vigilantly group to calm any robot settlement. Today there main occupation is terminating robots that are malfunctioning or breaking the law. There noticed by the mark on their shoulders, like the one you saw on Rock."
We reached the elevator that lead to Zone 1. "Terminating robots? No wonder I got so mad at him. So, in other words, there like a police for robots?"
"You can say that"
Once we exited the elevator I glanced to the side at a bunch of robots getting on another elevator that was heading down.
"Hey Malcolm, were are they going?" I asked.
"Zone 2," he said.
"Zone 2?"
Malcolm nodded, "Yes, there the robots that work in the power production. Although it's restricted to robots, and authorized personally, humans are not allowed without a pass due to its dangerous factory like atmosphere."
"Wow, next your going to tell me there's a Zone 3," I said sarcastically.
"Actually, there is,"
"What?"
"Zone 3 is the sewerage treatment. Like Zone 2 it is restricted to only robots."
"Man, just imagine how long it took to build this place." I had to admit Metropolis was impressive. Zone 1 was not how I expected it to be, the mood here was a bit gloomy, like a dark ally or something. "Hey Malcolm what exactly is Zone1?" I asked as we walked through its streets.
"Zone 1 is not dangerous but there are areas were police have little authority. Were in one now so be careful."
